The Budget and Finance Team plans the objectives toward which the offerings of the congregation shall regularly be directed to receive those offerings and to see that all offerings are distributed among the objectives toward which they were directed.  The work of the Church Treasurer shall be subject to the direction and review by this Team.  The Church Administrator serves as staff liaison to this team.

 PURPOSE:  Provides overall leadership in the finances of the Church and establishes internal controls

DESCRIPTION OF MINISTRY:

·         Compiles annual budget, monitors and audits

·         Oversees the accounting and financial reporting functions at Trinity

·         Reviews documentation supporting disbursement

·         Sign checks for church disbursements

·         Arranges for debt financing

·         Manages investments

 SKILLS AND TALENTS:

·         Accounting or business background 

 INVOLVEMENT REQUIRED:

·         Team meets on the third Wednesday at 3:00 pm in the Church Administrator’s office.
